The data controller for your personal data is Teal Recruitment.

Why we collect personal data and what information we collect
- To consider your candidacy, we primarily process the data you provide (contact details, CV, testimonials, diplomas, etc.). If you proceed, we may also process data from interviews and other contact with you, internal evaluation notes, previous application history, and references (e.g. former employment). Basis: your consent.
- We also process your data to present you to our clients, disclosing the data required for the client to consider your candidacy. Basis: your consent.
- If you enter an agreement with us (employee or subcontractor), we process your data as necessary to perform it — sharing contact details with the client, timesheets, invoicing, salary, expenses, insurance registration, etc. Basis: the agreement with us.
- To meet our statutory obligations for candidates with whom we conclude agreements, we process and disclose data concerning accounting, tax, national insurance, pension and occupational injury insurance, etc. Basis: our legal obligations.
- We may use your data for analysis, to develop a better service for you and our clients.
- We only process health information insofar as required to meet statutory obligations, or where the position requires it and in accordance with applicable laws.
Disclosing personal data to third parties
We may disclose your data to affiliated companies within the Teal Recruitment group for the purposes described above. We will not disclose it to other third parties unless permitted or required by law — e.g. where you have consented (presenting you to a client), where required to fulfil an agreement (insurance registration), or where legally obliged (public/tax authorities, pension schemes, occupational injury insurance).
We also use data processors to process your data on our behalf, under agreements that safeguard information security. If data is processed outside your country of residence, Teal Recruitment will ensure protection consistent with applicable data protection laws.

- Data processed on the basis of your consent: stored until you withdraw consent, or deleted within 5 years of your last activity.
- Data processed under an agreement: normally deleted within six months of termination, unless circumstances require longer.
- Data processed to comply with statutory obligations (payments, invoicing): retained as long as required by applicable law.
