Seeking an RN with at least two years of recent emergency department experience to help fill staffing needs at Queens General Hospital! Assignment to float between Queens General Emergency Department and Medical Unit. Desired contract length is 4 weeks with the potential for extension to be discussed with hiring manager if desired. We are a rural hospital with a 12-care space emergency department, and 24-bed inpatient medical unit. This emergency department provides care to patients of all ages. ER core staffing compliment is 3 RNs and 1 LPN per shift. Recent addition of a CCA to our day shifts to assist in the care of admitted patients who may be held in our department awaiting transfer to the medical unit. Medical core staffing on days is 2 RNs, 3 LPNs, and 2 CCAs. Core staffing on nights is 2 RNs, 2 LPNs and 1 CCA. Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CTAS. Additional certifications preferred: TNCC, ENPC, PALS, NRP. Point of care lab testing experience is an asset.
