We are recruiting Regional Registered Nurses (RRNs) for exciting opportunities throughout Labrador within the Labrador-Grenfell Zone. These unique positions offer advanced-scope nursing practice in nurse-led communities, supported by virtual physician services, comprehensive medical directives, and a strong clinical support network.

This is more than a nursing assignment—it's an opportunity to deliver essential healthcare services while experiencing some of Canada's most remarkable coastal and northern communities.

Charlottetown

  • Indigenous community located approximately 30 minutes from Mary's Harbour
  • Primary Health Care and Emergency Services
  • Close-knit community setting with basic local services

Cartwright

  • Indigenous coastal community on Labrador's South Coast
  • Primary Health Care and Emergency Services
  • Ideal for nurses seeking a remote coastal practice experience

St. Lewis

  • Indigenous coastal community offering Primary Health Care and Emergency Services
  • Beautiful coastal setting
  • Internet available with Wi-Fi calling recommended

Central Labrador

Mani Ashini Community Clinic (Sheshatshiu)

  • Located approximately 40 km from Happy Valley-Goose Bay
  • Serves the Indigenous community of Sheshatshiu
  • Full access to Goose Bay amenities including shopping, restaurants, pharmacies, and banking
  • Considered the least isolated Rural Remote and Coastal site

North Coast Labrador

Postville

  • Remote fly-in Indigenous community
  • Nursing station providing Primary Health Care and Emergency Services
  • Ideal for nurses seeking a truly remote northern nursing experience

Natuashish

  • Remote fly-in Indigenous community
  • Advanced nursing practice in a supportive team environment
  • Security personnel available on site

Hopedale

  • Remote fly-in Indigenous community on Labrador's North Coast
  • Nursing station providing Primary Health Care and Emergency Services
  • Hotel restaurant available within the community

Makkovik

  • Remote fly-in Indigenous community
  • Nursing station environment with a strong community connection
  • Exceptional opportunity to develop rural and remote nursing skills

Nurses work within their professional scope and competencies while being supported by established medical directives, referral pathways, physician consultation, and clinical leadership teams.

Travel & Accommodation

  • Travel arrangements coordinated through Happy Valley-Goose Bay
  • Accommodation provided for assignments
  • Orientation and training provided prior to community placement
  • Opportunities available in both road-accessible and fly-in communities
  • Shared accommodations may be required depending on location
