About the Role

We’re seeking an Environment/Chemical Advisor to work directly with and support the EH&S and the Wells Project Team develop required project documentation for an upcoming campaign.. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about driving strong safety performance.

Contract: May 2026 - February 2027

Responsibilities

- Work directly with and support the East Coast EH&S and the Wells Project Team develop required project documentation for upcoming campaign

- Provide guidance to support the selection of chemicals that minimize risks to personnel and reduce potential impacts to the environment.

- Evaluate and screen chemicals to be used on offshore facilities.

- Support regulatory and corporate environmental reporting requirements.

Requirements

- Completion of a degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Engineering or equivalent

- Knowledge of environmental toxicity, WHMIS 2015 and the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS).

- Experience working in the marine environment and knowledge of offshore oil and gas environmental aspects.
