The Emergency Room Travel Nurse delivers critical, high-acuity care in fast-paced hospital environments across Newfoundland and Labrador or British Columbia, ensuring optimal patient outcomes during medical emergencies. Specializing in trauma response, triage, and life-saving interventions, you'll adapt quickly to new teams while maintaining the highest clinical standards. Responsibilities

Perform rapid triage assessments and prioritize emergent cases
Stabilize patients with acute illness, trauma, or critical conditions
Administer medications and assist with emergency procedures
Collaborate with ER physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Document care and comply with hospital protocols
Operate emergency medical equipment
Educate patients on post-discharge care

Requirements

Active RN license for Newfoundland and Labrador or British Columbia
3+ years recent ER/trauma experience in Canadian hospitals
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CTAS
Clean criminal record check (within 180 days)
Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
Willingness to travel for 8-12 week contracts
