About the Role

The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering well and petroleum engineering projects safely, compliantly, and within budget. This includes providing HS&E leadership, ensuring compliance with company, client, and regulatory quality systems, and managing interfaces with service companies, internal teams, and customer representatives. The position oversees technical design, feasibility studies, risk reviews, cost and schedule development, and operational readiness, while supporting offshore/well site activities and ensuring lessons learned are captured and shared. Regular reporting, supplier coordination, and project performance tracking are key components of the role.

Employment Type: Contractual, full-time (1-2 years).

Responsibilities

These will include, but will not be limited to:

· To ensure compliance at all times with any local systems, rules and procedures, including any quality assurance standards (ISO 9001:2015) set by the Company and/or external certification authorities

· Provide HS & E leadership at all times

· Maintain regular contact with all equipment and service and equipment providers

· Compilation of basis of design reports

· Compilation of and obtaining approval for detailed programmes

· Ensure all data gathering requirements are specified

· Interfacing with the drilling, materials and logistics team as required

· Ensure service company proposed design and procedures fully meet operational requirements

· Prepare project briefing pack and issue to service companies

· Liaise with and supervise service companies during any qualification or job specific interface tests or trials

· Compilation of operations reports as required · Interfacing with the Well Examiner · Compilation of ITT documents, evaluate response and make recommendations for award of services

· Conduct feasibility studies as required

· Coordinating petroleum engineering work, including tubing stress analysis, inflow performance modelling, torque and drag analysis and hydrate prediction work

· Preparing detailed project risk reviews including chairing review meetings and presenting final documents

· Preparation of time and cost estimates as inputs for the project AFE’s

· Interfacing with all relevant customer representatives as required during the planning and operations phase. e.g. Drilling, Sub-surface, Materials and Logistics

· Providing input to all HSE and required regulatory notifications and consents as required

· Capturing lessons learned and disseminating through the organisation

· Prepare weekly project status reports

· Ensure projects are delivered in line with budgeted man days

· Assist peers and management as required

· Conduct regular project update meetings with line manager to track progress

· Comply with all aspects of the Client QMS

· Support offshore / well site operations

Requirements

· Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience

· 15 Years Industry Experience.

· Proven ability to competently and safely perform the duties of a Completion/Intervention Engineer is required. This would include drilling engineering experience with an offshore drilling program.

· Verification of education, professional qualifications, and relevant offshore well engineering experience prior to assignment will be required

All personnel assigned to this role must hold and maintain valid offshore safety and survival training as required by the C-NLOPB and applicable offshore regulations (NOC 82021). Training compliance will be verified as part of the interview process and monitored throughout the term of employment.
